A day in the life...

So here's a discussion starter for you...

Queensland politicians will spend a day in the lives of ordinary workers to better engage with the electorate.

Premier Anna Bligh has announced the new Walk a Day In My Shoes program .. that will see all 51 Labor MPs visit different workplaces to give them a taste of real life.

She says the program .. which will be rolled out before Christmas .. has been designed by unions in the US.

So what do you think? Should our politicians federal, state and Local all get back to grass roots and try spending a day in the life of a low income earner or maybe a student or carer?

What jobs should our pollies experience to get a handle on what is really happening in their electorates? Tell me this afternoon (Wednesday) by leaving me a comment on this blog or you write on our Vision Radio Network facebook wall or just call the feedback line on 1800 880 876

Some of the most creative ideas I'll post here for you tomorrow and keep listening this afternoon as we think about how our Politicians can best represent us :) Have wonderful SPRING day.

Matt
