Its great to share the afternoon with you every weekday here on Vision. Be listening this afternoon as we share all the regular features...Bernie, Ravi, Focus on the family & way of the master minutes, Missions News and of course the music.

Neil will drop in to say G'day and we're hoping Robbo will be in mobile range too...he's off travelling with Steve Grace at the moment. So we're hoping we can get a bit of a glimpse into life on the road with the Heritage Tour. They're in Charters Towers in QLD tonight at the PCYC..all the details are available from the link on our homepage.

Yesterday we were speaking about what you did on election day when you went to vote. I asked if you had supported a local school or community group by purchasing some drinks or a sausage or home baking....

Here are some of the responses I got from facebook...feel free to add some more if you had your own experience!
Matt

I lodged my vote today at the local high school and bought a drink from some very nice young lads who were sausage sizzling and selling drinks right outside the exit to the polling booth for the school basketball team...anyone else buy a sausage/raffle ticket/drink/something to help support something/someone similar??

=> I would have but there were more people in the line for the sausage sizzle then there were to vote, back to the church to vote next time, they have home cooking for sale :)

=> I was really disapointed, the food is the big plus for me in voteing LOL, there was NOTHING were we voted - so sad

=> Think I could make a killing minding the kids while their parents vote instead of standing next to their parents asking them who they are voting for

=> That was my husband's favourite part of voting day

=> yes we brought cakes and muffins from the cake stall and we brought a drink and yummy sausage sizzle and bacon and eggs sandwitches !!!!!!! always like to help out :)

and there was this one from Vision's very own Shelley! :)
=> I purposely didn't take my wallet so that when they put the guilt trip on you to 'support your local school community and buy my cake/sausage/jam/who-knows-what' i could just say 'sorry i didn't bring any money'!
