So many movies... but are any worth watching?
Vision’s Richelle Wilkins has teamed up with Focus on the Family to help shine a light on the world of popular entertainment to give you the information you need to understand and navigate the box office!
The movie Alex Cross is all about a detective with a nearly psychic gift for picking apart a crime scene. But when the twisted killer that Cross is tracking turns his attentions to the detective's loved ones, things get personal.
This thriller—based on the popular James Patterson crime novels—is at times fast-paced and tense. It says positive things about dedicated cops and family. But this is predominantly a movie immersed in painful manipulations and wince-worthy torture. Add in some foul language and graphically gruesome moments and you've got a detective's tale that's more Rambo than Sherlock Holmes. So Focus on the Family is giving Alex Cross just 1.5 crime scenes out of 5 for family friendliness.
