In the movie The Five Year Engagement, newly engaged couple Tom and Violet postpone their his and her nuptials, when Violet gets offered the university posting of a life-time. There’s only one problem, Sam is a sous chef on the verge of a successful career and his very own restaurant and Violet’s job is located in Michigan. Can their relationship stand the test? And how will these two love birds overcome some nasty trips up the aisle?  

A romantic comedy highlighting the importance of family, marriage and working together, Both Tom & Violet mature as individuals and as a couple through their experiences. The heart-breaker here is a long invite list of profanities, sexual references and bad tasting jokes which leave you with a half eaten wedding cake.
