Clarke & Warner - Both Training

Australian captain Michael Clarke and suspended batsman David Warner have both trained with the side at The Oval in London.

Clarke hadn't trained since first arriving in the UK and hasn't played a match on tour as he fights to overcome his latest back injury.

He's still expected to miss Monday's final Champions Trophy pool match against Sri Lanka, although he's completed some light running and also performed some one-on-one batting drills.

SA - Signs Up For Gonski

Opposition education spokesman Christopher Pyne says South Australia's decision to agree to the federal government's school funding plan represents a massive financial setback for the state.

Mr Pyne is accusing Premier Jay Weatherill of "tribal loyalty" to Prime Minister Julia Gillard's leadership ahead of his responsibilities to South Australia by signing the deal.

Western Australia premier Colin Barnett says he's in no rush to do so, despite Ms Gillard tripling her offer to 920 million dollars in base funding.

Victoria is also still holding out on the deal.

But Prime Minister Julia Gillard says, with indexation, schools in South Australia will be better off.

More Calls For Gillard To Resign

A Sydney Labor MP has called on Prime Minister Julia Gillard to stand down and allow Kevin Rudd to lead the party.

John Murphy, who holds the inner-west electorate of Reid by a margin of 2.7 per cent, was mobbed on the campaign trail when he was joined by Mr Rudd at Five Dock Public School on Friday morning.

Mr Murphy's told the Weekend Australian he believes it is now in the interests of the Australian Labor Party for the Prime Minister to stand down and for Kevin Rudd to lead us to the next election.
