For service to the international community, particularly through roles supporting children and ...young people and as Co-Founder and Director of the Sandra Jones Centre in Zimbabwe.
National Director, Youth for Christ Zimbabwe, 2000-2011: Bulawayo Director, 1998-2000; and Youth Worker and Personal Assistant to National Director, since 1989.
Her achievements during this time include:
Developed and ran programs in schools for children, youth and young adults including ‘Just Say No’, ‘Kids Kan’ and a sexual abuse prevention program for young people, for 12 years.
Established the Crisis Pregnancy Centre (originally in her home in Bulawayo).
Established the Samkele Centre for Women and Children in Crisis, 2002.
Established ‘Window of Love’, 2005; to accommodate abandoned or orphaned babies and toddlers.
Co-Founder and Director, Sandra Jones Children's Village, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, since 2000; also known as the Sandra Jones Centre.
The Centre now combines the Crisis Pregnancy Centre, Samkele and ‘Window of Love’ projects in larger facilities; now houses up to 90 babies, children and young girls; includes a school, a home and counselling services for the pregnant girls.
Currently raising funds to purchase a fully furnished hotel to house an additional 100 children.

I know many of our listeners have been contributors to her work financially, practically (making and sending clothing and quilts) and in prayer [the most vital factor].
