Radio is a Powerful, Cost-Effective Medium
Vision now broadcasts to over 220 communities Australia-wide. As we’ve said time and again our dream is for Christian radio for every Australian. We don’t want anyone to miss the opportunity to keep connected to God and others through this powerful media.
Because we can share the cost across many communities, it averages just $3,000 per year per community for us to broadcast this life-changing message. That's amazing economy of scale - working out at around 33 cents per hour of broadcast in each community, but the reality is that we still need to find those funds every year! This includes things like license fees, satellite distribution costs, wages, electricity, site rentals, marketing… all sorts of costs that are incurred in the process of keeping Vision alive 24/7.
We're not a commercial enterprise, but we need to cover these costs. That's where our partners step in. We are a 'not-for-profit' entity with no government funding or a major individual commercial underwriter. The majority of our costs are currently covered by donors, business and ministry partners. People just like you.
