Lleyton Hewitt is shattered at being overlooked for a doubles wildcard into the London Olympic Games despite being handed a singles invitation.

Hewitt was desperate to play doubles in London next month at the All England Club with Davis Cup partner Chris Guccione.

But Tennis Australia's application was overlooked in favour of doubles teams from Argentina, Brazil, Russia, Israel, Colombia and Slovak Republic.
